Virus in new Apple iPod

First, let us clarify a question: Because you may ask, "What about the quotes in the title?" I must tell you one thing. This article is not about one of these popular MP3 player, manufactured by Cupertino-based company, it is actually a crappy device probably by some Chinese companies that tries to attract more consumers through the use of Apple logo and name of Product (some of you may believe that the "D" at the end of the iPod looks like an "a" but, what the Heck, it is obvious the producers wanted to take advantage of Apple's success in the market).

While it is obviously violated a trademark case, we are not here to talk about, but legal disputes over some security issues discovered recently.

As you know, more and more computer infections to propagate tried to copy files to their USB removable storage media and, once on a clean computer, and install the system. But what is worse is that some devices, the USB connection with pre-installed, viruses, probably because of ignorance of the manufacturer or to some mistake in the scanning process before shipping. It happened in the past with digital picture frames and it also comes a week ago with HP flash drives.
It seems, however, such as MP3 players are also affected by this issue. And this is the time when we begin to talk about that fake Apple iPod (which, incidentally, says he offers 1 GB of storage space), because after Michael von Viruslist.com, it was with a virus pre-installed. As usual, the infection was detected after the USB connection has been established to install Kasperksy Internet Security identification and blocking of the threat.

Also, in an era when more and more threats to the USB-based devices and when such products are all kinds of accessories such as headsets, connectivity cable, viruses and Trojan horses, antiviruses are simply a must.
