Acer aims to surpass HP in the notebook market

Intel Atom Z-series processors are here to stay

New Mebius netbook boasts integrated LCD in the palm rest

Netbook design can vary as much as we have learned in recent months. But for those who have not lost hope, there is a new netbook which only allows you to stand out from the crowd. This is the case in Mebius PC-NJ70A of Sharp, a system that is to impress with its features, instead of his name. But according to the fellows at Engadget, the system will start with a street price of U.S. $ 817.

Despite the high price of Mebius and standard technical specifications, netbook, much better than competing products on the market. Taking into account Sharp expertise in the LCD segment, users can also expect a higher quality of the integrated LCD screen.

Recently, a new Kohjinsha ultra-portable computer that has everything it needs to compete in the rapidly growing market for Atom-powered netbooks. From a 10-inch display, the new netbook from Kohjinsha was exactly what you're looking for in a netbook system.

What are the technical specifications, Kohjinsha MT6WX16AR has little or nothing new to offer. The system is based on the overly familiar Intel Atom processor platform, as shown in most netbooks currently on the market. The 1.6GHz N270 processor with 1GB of RAM (expandable to 2GB) and a traditional hard disk that is ready to give you as much as 160 GB of storage space. The 10.1-inch screen supports a resolution of 1024 x 576 and is powered by Intel's integrated 945GSE Express chipset.

Fortunately Kohjinsha decided to at least one feature that you might not find on most of its competitors in the market. According to the specifications in this thing, users will be able to benefit from a 1Seg TV tuner, a feature that may give rise to an interest in the company of 10-inch netbook.

Apart from the specs above, the new 10-inch netbook by Kohjinsha offers much-needed WiFi, Ethernet and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity options, a 1.3MP webcam, a 3-in-1 card reader and ExpressCard/34 tax. The system is equipped with a Windows XP Home SP3 operating system and comes at a starting point the price of € 499. Unfortunately we have no information on when the netbook will be available, but we guess it will sooner rather than later.

Tegra-powered HP Mini netbook

Although it did not result in direct cooperation with HP to develop a Tegra-powered Mini Netbook, they wanted to overcome the many factors that may cause
used to determine the computing power of the Tegra chip.

Acer plans 11.6-inch netbook

In recent weeks, Acer has quietly introduced a range of new systems Netbook, including the d250 and Aspire One 531, which have been designed with a 10-inch display. But according to some information obtained recently from Internet, the PC vendor's intention to bring a small system which will be driven by an Atom processor. The Aspire One is 751, but will have a larger 11.6-inch LED-backlit display, capable of a higher resolution of 1366 768 pixels. With the new version, Acer want to add diversity to a market currently dominated by 10-inch and 9-inch netbooks.

Although the system has not yet officially announced, some of its technical specifications have already been made available on the Internet. According to a recent news article at bit-tech, the Aspire One 751 is a combination of a Netbook, and portable real, which gives users the ability to provide Intel'z 1.33 GHz Z520 or Z530 processor 1.6GHz. The system is based on the now familiar chip Intel GMA500 and will have a three-cell battery, giving users approximately four hours of driving. There will also be an opportunity for a higher 6-cell battery, for those seeking a more reliable Netbook.

Unfortunately, as with the other new Aspire One netbooks, we have many details on pricing or availability, but when it is released, it will certainly provide the users with a Windows operating system. A version of Linux may be available, but have not yet confirmed.

Given the number of new models Netbook Acer have prepared for the current year, we can say that the company has taken inspiration from ASUS, which is known for its wide range of Eee PC netbooks. But it may affect the sale of the company in a bad way, since users may be confused with the large number of configuration options.
