The vast majority of motherboards built around AMD currently 780G chipset arrive without support for the 125 Watt processors. As previously reported, in a motherboard models produced top-level producers not work in a pair of high TDP processors such as AMD in the Black Fen X4 9850 Edition.

MSI faced the same problem in its AMD-based motherboard ruler, but the company has just announced the development of an updated version of its core AMD 790X motherboard sacrifice that now with the full support of power hungry quad-core processors.

Two other motherboards support only 95 - W processors, primarily targeted at low-cost market, as they will work in low-cost, low-power computer systems, and less likely to be affected by compatibility issues.

In K9A2GM-F v2 (AMD 780V), and K9N2GM-F v2 (Nvidia GeForce in 8200) will not support the latest processors from AMD because of the cost-effective power stage modules, which can deliver 125 watts of power needed.

However, the upgrade does not include one of the most popular models of MSI, namely K9A2 CF, and the company contends that it has not yet decided whether it will release a version for the stock.
