Kaspersky Anti-Spam 3.0 recognized as ICSA Labs Certified

Kaspersky Labs Anti-Spam 3.0 recently received anti-spam certification from ICSA Labs which underlines the fact that the application is truly effective when it comes to blocking unsolicited email traffic. ICSA Labs certification is issued only security applications that find more than 95 percent of spam from 1 to 100000 false positive rate, according to a press release issued by Kaspersky Labs. Kaspersky Anti-Spam 3,0 is one of the six products that were able to pass the first test.
"Today, anti-spam solutions must become an integral and important element of a comprehensive protection against Internet threats. That is why common criteria and standards for assessing the quality of anti-spam solutions have become increasingly important for the entire IT-threat-protection industry and our end users" said Evgeny Kaspersky, CEO Kaspersky Labs.
"I am pleased to say that the consortium succeeded in developing a comprehensive set of impartial criteria for testing anti-spam products, and our solutions Kaspersky Anti-Spam 3,0 passed all certification tests, on the basis of these criteria, with honor."
