First Nvidia GeForce 9600GSO Cards Popping up

NvidiaNvidia, is reportedly ready to present its new GeForce 9600 graphics cards GSO to fight AMD in the upcoming Radeon 4800 graphics cards in the series. As soon arrive GeForce 9600 GEO will be a direct competitor in AMD unreleased HD Radeon 3830 graphics card and is expected to fill the gap between existing 9600 GT and the upcoming 9600 GS.

According to Nvidia partners in production, the first GEO 9600 models will be available in early May, but most manufacturers have not yet set prices for their new products. Nevertheless, XFX necessarily be the first on the market since 9600 GSO Sacrifice. However, EVGA is the first partner of Nvidia officially proud of their product GSO 9600.

EVGA produces two cards, both based on 65nm chip embedded G92, with 96 shader units on board. The first proposal was the usual GSO 9600 version and will arrive at the market with a 550 MHz GPU, Shader 1375 MHz and 1600 MHz block GDDR3 hours. Superclocked version of the road map will come with their GPU, shader units and memory clocked at 650, 1620 MHz and 1900, repsectively.

Both models will support from EVGA 192 - bit memory interface, 38MB of memory GDDR3, PCI-Express DirectX 2,0 and 10.0 opportunities. Manufacturing in beloved Nvidia partner does not announce pricing and availability for any of its GSO 9600 on the basis of the shares.

MSI will also submit at least one video card is based on GSO 9600 graphics processor. According to some secret sources in the company, production facility, the first units of its new cards will arrive on the market on 13 May.

MSI in the offering is expected same-equipped G92-150 as a basic 8800 GS model, except for some minor tweaks in the kernel, memory and shader clock.
