The ThinkPad X300 on new packaging for a large display, full-size keyboard, and almost all who are mobile, with a user needs in a sleek, lightweight case. The ThinkPad X300 is extremely thin and easy; sleekest ThinkPad yet, built-in DVD burner, WWAN, GPS, USB and Wireless.

Lenovo has decided to increase both in the red rubber-head pointing device TrackPoint stick and a touchpad on the ThinkPad X300. The decision is understandable: ThinkPad viscerally many users are involved in their track points, while other users can not, then why not also to the methods? But the dual mouse buttons seem games against the whole issue of simplification that the ThinkPad X 300 embodies.

To provide more space for the buttons on the camera Track Point, the touchpad is low enough remains on the wrist, with its buttons near to the laptops board the front-end. Fortunately, the ThinkPad X300 is quite thin, we use the touchpad with our wrists on the surface of an office - or on our legs, when the phone in the series. The biggest concern is that in the course of our lazier by using moments, in which our wrists fell on the wrist remains, we can strip and the touchpad accidentally move the cursor astray.

Especially for people who are not with thinkpads, you can use the floor and / or the keyboard, if you do not like it. Lenovo maintained both for the taste.

This X300 comes with Solid-state drive, Solid-state drive reaches a high premium; touchpad's position makes it easy to strip accidentally when entering.

Specs at glance: Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo (1.2 GHz); RAM installed: 2.0 GB; OS provided: Windows XP Professional but vista also recommended.
