Overclocked on a DFI mobo and with lot of liquid nitrogen
Written by IT News on 4:04 AMOnce back, you said about how Intel is planning to its processors, built with more overclocking capabilities. Now, it appears that one of the company, yet to be officially introduced processors already surfaced on the Internet as part of a pair of overclocking experiments. We talk about E8600, Intel, which is the highest CPU clock Wolfdale.
When we say at the clock, understand most, factory-set rate of core 3.33GHz. However, for some consumers, that is not enough and imposing a limit of the processor is all about overclocking. As can remember, these boys are the ones who are responsible for overclocking an Intel processor at-5 GHz, which was shown at this year's Computex show. Then they used an Intel quad-core processor and motherboard MSI. This time around, they went for a DFI LP UT P35 mobo and E8600 processor.
The result is the CPU clock in over 6GHz, cooled by liquid nitrogen much. Processor is installed on the system, which includes 4GB of DDR2 memory and Radeon HD 4870 graphics card.
At the beginning of the CPU was clocked at 6000.2MHz, but speed is raised, to 6146.9 at a later overclocking experience. Boys from Coolaler managed to reach 6.14GHz marks, as the processor FSB to a maximum of 614MHz, from the standard 333MHz. This ultimately proves that the forthcoming Intel 45nm Core 2 Duo will be delight for all those, overclocking enthusiasts down there.
Such practices making up the processor speed of the standard limit is not approved by Intel, so if the user wants to drawn border of its processor, it can achieve through the loss of a security processor. But even so, 6.14GHz mark achieved by boys in Coolaler, is not something everyone can be achieved. This happens mainly because of strong overclocked
