Corsair rolls out new DDR3 memory kits for Core i5 processors

Corsair, one of the world's largest suppliers of high-performance memory solutions, has recently announced the introduction of some new memory products, designed to provide support for the upcoming Intel P55 platform and next generation i5 Core and Core i7 processors. These new memory modules are available in capacities of 8 GB and 12 GB kit, which provides support for the next generation of Intel processors for desktop computers. Intel's next-generation P55 platform for mainstream and performance desktop computers has been confirmed recently by the launch of the new Inferno Katana Foxconn's motherboards. Foxconn has just announced the new board, confirming the support to not-yet-official LGA1156 compatible i5 Core processors. As the rumor went on previous occasions, is the new Inferno Katana was designed as a performance-ramp, which provides support for the next generation of Intel processors, Lynnfield, combined with multi-GPU technology from leading graphics chip makers in the world, AMD and NVIDIA.

The Board is based on the long awaited P55 chipset and supports LGA1156 Intel-compatible processors, including the new Core i7 and Core i5 models. Intel plans new Core i3, i5 and i7 processors

ASUS P7P55 Pro motherboard

This is the case with one of the new P55-based chipsets, enabling users with support for Intel's next generation of mainstream processors, code-named Lynnfield. Dubbed P7P55 Pro, the upcoming motherboard from ASUS will be based on a full ATX PCB and provide all necessary functions for the next generation of Intel-based computer systems.

As you can see pictures below ASUS went to a black PCB with blue contacts for the next P7P55 Pro platform.
