Sony Ericsson Xperia X1

Sony Ericsson is very quiet lately in terms of Xperia X1 smartphone from high-end, although its release date is ready and closer. Said hit the market in September, Xperia X1, actually could be delayed until month or two.

According TechDigest, the new Sony Ericsson smartphone will be offered by Great Britain starting on November 3 this year, which may mean that all other European carriers will release a mobile phone in approximately the same date. But this may happen as carriers launched a new phone on different dates all the time, so let's hope that 3 is the only operator that will free X1 by two months overdue.

In the retail prices of Xperia X1 is not known at this time, but we know that will offer only 3 smartphone with a contract agreement, and to plan for less than 30 GBP (38 euros or 60 U.S. dollars) per month .

Despite the fact that this is only the fifth largest operator of Britain, 3 has a very strong line up of high-end phone that includes Nokia N95 8GB, LG Viewty and Sony Ericsson C902. In Windows Mobile 6,1 Xperia X1 certainly will be nice addition to the 3 presentations, and its customers should expect for its availability.

Ericsson’s 3G is faster in Singapore

Ericsson signed today an agreement with SingTel, Singapore's largest mobile operator, according to which, the Swedish company will enhance the carrier's GSM, WCDMA and HSPA networks. After Ericsson upgrades SingTel's network, the carrier will be able to provide higher data transfer speeds as well as an expanded network coverage, allowing its subscribers to benefit from the latest wireless and mobile technologies.

The agreement between the two companies is said to be worth around 220 million Singapore dollars (160 million USD or 103.6 million Euros) and its final results – meaning the completion of the network upgrade – will be seen at the beginning of 2009.

SingTel currently offers HSPA (High Speed Packet Access) services that allow mobile users to achieve 3.6 Mbps data transfer speeds when downloading content and 384 Kbps when uploading. Following Ericsson's enhancement, the download speeds will go up to 14.4 Mbps, while the upload ones will reach 5.7 Mbps speeds. Moreover, by the end of 2009, Ericsson plans to deploy an HSPA Evolution network for SingTel, which will bring even faster speeds: 42 Mbps in downlink and 12 Mbps in uplink.

Talking about the new deal with Ericsson, Mark Chong Chin Kok, SingTel's Executive Vice President of Networks, declared: "This mobile network enhancement program is part of SingTel's ongoing efforts to deliver unparalleled, reliable mobile service and coverage to our customers. It also provides SingTel with the flexibility to meet future growth in both usage and demands, especially for mobile data. More and more customers are accessing data and the Internet on the move, and they need higher data speeds."

Ann Emilson, Ericsson Singapore's President, completed: "This contract marks another significant step in affirming Ericsson's strong partnership with and commitment to SingTel. We are proud to be the core provider of SingTel's network enhancement and to be a key contributor to its continual growth and leadership in Singapore's telecommunications market."

In conclusion, SingTel will have a faster and expanded mobile network, which in the end represents great news for its subscribers.

Finally I sold my phone!

Z710i is the most powerful device I have ever used from Sony Ericsson. This sleek clamshell phone is powered with the latest technology to give me lightning-fast data transfer. As the important thing device for me is as long has the best ability to be use as a modem, and Z710i has good network connectivity such as Bluetooth, infrared, 3G and the best is it has built-in EDGE and HSDPA.

I have been using this phone about 13 months ago, and I really satisfied, from all included features, I only use the HSDPA, because actually I only need a wireless internet connection. I never made a phone call, but some times I also use the 2.0 MP digital cameras to take pictures. And I now I have another device that specially work as WCDMA & HSDPA modem, those I decide to sell this phone.

As usual I always asked to my closed friends and family offering this device, just incase that they are interested to buy. But this way is took time and I need I explain much about how to use, and so on. And by placing advertising in my local news paper, some times it fast but cost to much.

The best option that much easier and work is just drop it to iSold It store; this is the easy way to sell online. This is really an easy way to sell anything, I don’t need to explain much, and the rest is I only do a monitor the auction status and waiting for the payments. So this is good news for you all that had planned to sell something.

Sony Ericsson W910i Illegally in Love with Apple

Sony Ericsson and Apple does not have a lot in common, except for the fact that the two companies produce and sell mobile devices, among other things. Well, some ingenious owner of the Sony Ericsson W910i seems to have found a way to make his phone SE and Apple look long time lovers.

The owner, we talk about how to have a unique Sony Ericsson W910i: with Apple's apple (he could not have said otherwise), as wallpaper, and not on any background. The concern is that a cartoon spin in the (A) apple, as you spin and move the phone, so that the apple always kept in his bottom down, no matter how you focus on the W910. It's like the fruit (may I call it this way, although it's simple logo?) Has more weight in the lower part of his right unchanged and gravity holds it in an upright position at all times.

Or at least he was a month ago, because he seemed to be willing to share it with those who are "well ask." Thus, you can still try your luck if you believe that wallpaper is cool.

In the not-quite-related note: it would not be good if Sony Ericcson and Apple would want to make an agreement on the establishment of a mobile phone that has the type and technical characteristics of the high-end SE phone, as well as multi-touch Mac OS, as iPhone? This phone can be in excellent functionality and very popular. But Apple and Sony Ericsson will probably never think about such things. Sorry.
