Acer recalls some Aspire Timeline laptops
Over the years a number of animals on the laptops of different suppliers of systems that were withdrawn for various reasons, mainly to do with the overheating of a certain hardware component. It seems that, despite the fact that production technology has evolved considerably, making low-power, compact components, such as overheating issues remain myself saw some of the latest laptops on the market. one of the world's largest providers of notebook computers, Acer, currently has a recall on these machines.

According to a special web page tailored to the care the company's website, there are some Aspire models may overheat under certain conditions. The list of entities belonging to AS3410, AS3810T, AS3810TG, AS3810TZ and AS3810TZG models manufactured before September 15, 2009. Apparently in these units can overheat the microphone cable "when extreme pressure is applied repeatedly to the left palm rest." MSI's X-Slim X410 makes a debut

MSI announced the expansion of the X-Slim family of ultra-portable, ultra-thin computer systems announced the launch of the new x410 model. Designed to give consumers an alternative to the wide range of Culver Intel-based notebooks, the new machine is designed to take advantage of AMD's second generation of Neo-platform proud support for 1080p high-resolution and long service life of the battery. The new system has a 14-inch screen and weighs only 1.5 kg with battery.

Unlike the first bunch of X-Slim MSI's notebooks, is the new system is designed in a Intel RS690E + SB600 chipset and supports a low-power Neo AMD Athlon processor, combined with an ATI Radeon X1250 graphics chip. The laptop is equipped with 14-inch HD 1366 x 768 pixel LCD display and supports up to 4GB of DDR2 memory.

Like most ultra-thin notebooks, the new x410 from MSI offers some additional features that make it possible to provide support for a basic computer skills. These features include two built-in speakers, 1.3MP webcam, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth, wireless 802.11 b / g / n and the support of a large capacity 500GB SATA hard drive. The laptop will, as usual, full of connectivity options, including HMI, 2-in-1 card reader, two USB 2.0 ports, D-Sub, headphone out and mic-in.

Measuring only 349 x 234 mm and sports a complete system x24.5 weighs about 1.5 kg, the new X-Slim laptop from MSI offers a choice of a 4-cell or 8-cell battery. The sleek exterior design is not permissible for an integrated optical drive, a common feature of these units.

Unfortunately, the Taiwanese company supplied no specific details on pricing and availability of its new ultra-portable, ultra-thin X-Slim systems.

Lenovo unveils the US$399 CULV Inspiron 11z

Dell has recently updated its range of portable computer systems with the introduction of the new Inspiron 11z, which is intended for users with another Culver-based laptop. Boasting a 11.6-inch screen, the new machine is located somewhere between a netbook and ultra portable laptop. Given the technical specifications, the new ultra-portable system capable netbook fans with an alternative to a higher performance laptop combines some of the netbook and ultra-portable system specs.

At first glance is Inspiron 11z looks like an option for users who are planning for a new Inspiron Mini 12, PC-supplier recently quit. But in a later post on the company blog, Dell claims that the new system is the first outbreak in Culver market, is proud of the results and features of Intel's much hyped platform for thin and ultra portable laptops.

The internal specifications of the Inspiron 11z a low power 1.2GHz Celeron processor with 2 GB of memory, a 250GB hard drive and a HD (1366x768) 11.6-inch display. Additional features include built-in Wi-Fi networks, 1.3MP webcam and a 28WHr battery that is said to be in a position to provide end users with as much as 3 hours of driving. The system comes with Windows Vista system with a free upgrade kit for the highly anticipated Windows 7 OS.

More configurations are expected from Dell because the company plans to expand its presence in the rapidly growing market for ultra-portable computers powered by Intel's Culver platform. For now, users will have to do with this new 11.6-inch Inspiron 11z, which comes at a starting price of just U.S. $ 399, making the PC affordable segment of netbooks.
