NVIDIA adds new GeForce GTX 275 graphics card

According to the Santa Clara, California-based graphics chip maker, the new card to compete directly with the latest version of the AMD Radeon HD 4890 has. Performance wise is placed between the GTX 260 and GTX 280, which provides a range of technical specifications that are similar for both adapters. According to NVIDIA, the new card is part of its strategy to cover all segments of the market, providing users with a variety of options for its graphical desktop environments.
As far as technical specifications, the new GTX 275 is equipped with 240 processor cores, the same as the GTX 280 and GTX 285, a clock speed of 633MHz and a frequency of 1404MHz Shader. Compared to the GTX 280 and GTX 285, the new GTX 275 is approaching the performance of these two cards, especially given the minimal differences between the three in terms of technical specifications.
The new NVIDIA GTX 275 is equipped with 896MB of 448-bit GDDR3 memory operating at clock speeds of 1134MHz and provides a bandwidth of the memory of 127 GB / s. As with almost all of the latest NVIDIA GPUs the new GTX 275 provides support for DirectX 10, OpenGL 3.0 and the company's own PhysX, cuda and Pure Video. Additional details include a GPU temperature of 105 degrees, a video card maximum power of 219W and two 6-pin power connectors. The card is equipped with a dual slot cooling solution and two dual-link DVI ports.
The new card was announced alongside the new GeForce Power Pack 3, which contains a number of new applications and PhysX cuda enabled. According to NVIDIA, the new GTX 275 will be available worldwide beginning April 14, 2009 at a MSRP of €239.
