Trend Micro System Cleaner is a stand-alone fix package that is Trend Micro VSAPI malware and spyware scanning equipment modules and Trend Micro Damage Cleanup Engine and Template.

Application:

• Create a temporary folder and copy SYSCLEAN.COM in this folder. NOTE: This temporary folder will be created on a local or mapped drive.
• Download the latest malware and spyware samples (see conditions) Unzip the downloaded ZIP pattern file into the created folder.
• Close all applications running on your system, including antivirus software.
• Run the executable file, SYSCLEAN.COM either double-click the tool in Windows Explorer / Run command prompt using syntax based on the above parameters.
• Enable any antivirus software that is installed on your system and do a manual scan. Note: The patch tool creates the log file, SYSCLEAN.LOG, in its current folder.

• Quit all detected malware / spyware cases in memory
• Remove malware / spyware, registry entries
• Remove malware / spyware entries from system files
• Scan and remove all detected malware / spyware copies in all local units
