Unlike the first bunch of X-Slim MSI's notebooks, is the new system is designed in a Intel RS690E + SB600 chipset and supports a low-power Neo AMD Athlon processor, combined with an ATI Radeon X1250 graphics chip. The laptop is equipped with 14-inch HD 1366 x 768 pixel LCD display and supports up to 4GB of DDR2 memory.
Like most ultra-thin notebooks, the new x410 from MSI offers some additional features that make it possible to provide support for a basic computer skills. These features include two built-in speakers, 1.3MP webcam, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth, wireless 802.11 b / g / n and the support of a large capacity 500GB SATA hard drive. The laptop will, as usual, full of connectivity options, including HMI, 2-in-1 card reader, two USB 2.0 ports, D-Sub, headphone out and mic-in.
Measuring only 349 x 234 mm and sports a complete system x24.5 weighs about 1.5 kg, the new X-Slim laptop from MSI offers a choice of a 4-cell or 8-cell battery. The sleek exterior design is not permissible for an integrated optical drive, a common feature of these units.
Unfortunately, the Taiwanese company supplied no specific details on pricing and availability of its new ultra-portable, ultra-thin X-Slim systems.
