Dell released this year, XPS 625 and 630 desktop platforms, primarily to the performance requirements of computer gaming enthusiasts. The cheaper XPS 625 is based on an AMD platform and offers support for the latest 45nm Phenom X4-II processors, 8 GB of DDR memory and ATI Radeon graphics. The XPS 630 is more expensive, with Intel technology and supports Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad processors, up to 8GB of DDR2 and NVIDIA or ATI graphics card.

The alternative would be easy for overclocking fans but also by those who like the owner of a very cool computer.
