A new theme, which may for Windows XP. FreewareRoyale theme is another topic that might for Windows XP that filtered and on the Microsoft Web site. The issue seems to have a beta version of Media Center 2005, which is in testing.
The issue is not significantly different from the current incarnation of Luna, the default theme for Windows XP version. You can see the major changes in the screenshots below, one could describe as a "glass" mod "Luna.
How Microsoft is known, it is very difficult to please all the world when it comes to the issues. But I think they are quite sure that most people, like the new version of Luna.
