Gateway announces the Windows 7-ready ZX6800 and ZX4800 all-in-ine touchscreen desktop PCs

As most of you already know, Microsoft is currently planning the launch of next-generation operating system Windows 7, an operating system is scheduled for release on 22 October and is scheduled for a while. In this context, there are a number of PC vendors prepare to update its product portfolio with the introduction of new systems that will be implemented as OS. One of them is Gateway, which has just announced the launch of the new all-in-one PC, which runs on both Windows 7 and will be equipped with touch-screen multi-touch-enabled displays.

Kicking off with high-end Gateway One ZX6810-01, users can take advantage of a 23-inch Full HD widescreen LCD monitor supports a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The system is based on Intel GM45 Express chipset and is powered by an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200S processor clocked at 2.33GHz and with a maximum 8GB of DDR3 memory. Additional features include an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 graphics chip with 1GB of DDR3 memory, January 1-TB SATA hard drive and a 64GB SSD, integrated 802.11 b / g / Draft-N connectivity and Gigabit LAN, six USB 2.0 ports, eSATA port , hybrid TV tuner with remote control and an integrated Webcam HD.

Design-wise, Gateway One is ZX4800 Series ZX6800 similar model, but there is a smaller version of the system. Based on an Intel GL40 Express Chipset, all-in-one PC is powered by a Pentium Dual Core T4300 processor clocked at 2.1 GHz with Intel GMA X4500HD graphics core and 4GB dual-channel DDR2 memory. This model has a 20-inch HD widescreen display and is equipped with a 750GB hard drive, SuperMulti Optical Drive, 4-in-1 card reader and basically the same connections to the above model.

Price wise, the 23-inch all-in-one PC will be available for a suggested retail price of U.S. $ 1399.99, while the lower-end model, ZX4800, starts at U.S. $ 749.99.

    According to me, Gateway zx6810 has an amazing design. It has windows 7 and it performs really well. It offers lot of games and gaming is simply fun. The hard drive is also very good, very satisfying.
