Upcoming EeeBox B208 to pack ATI graphics, gets June release

The two leading suppliers of computer systems netbook, Acer and ASUS are expected to start a new struggle, after the much anticipated release of an upcoming ASUS product, EeeBox PC B208. As mentioned in previous articles, the new nettop is designed for one of Intel's low-power Atom processors with an integrated ATI Radeon HD 4530 graphics chip, so
end users to take advantage of a small computer that also supports playback of HD content. The Eee PC B208, a competitor to Acer's AspireRevo, based on NVIDIA's ION platform.

According to a recently published article on the French language Blogeee said nettop may be available to customers sometime in June this year, the market with an alternative to the recently launched AspireRevo. According to the data sheet for the next EeeBox, ASUS has managed to combine a dual-core Atom 330 processor with ATI Radeon HD 4350 Graphics solution with 256MB of DDR2 memory. This seems to be the most significant change to the Eee PC line of Atom-powered netbooks.

Moreover, the system is equipped with 1GB DDR2 memory, a high capacity 320GB SATA II hard drive, multi-in-one card reader, wireless 802.11 b / g / n connection Gigabit Ethernet LAN, four USB 2.0 ports and an HDMI port, driven by the integrated ATI Radeon graphics. The system evaluated at a weight of only 1 kg and comes with a remote control and an integrated battery said to act as a UPS.
